Also known as skin cancer or pre-cancer screening, Skin Clinic Taranaki doctors use a dermatoscope to examine your skin, which ensures a detailed, magnified, and illuminated view of every lesion on your body. It provides peace of mind that the lesions seen on the day have been examined thoroughly.
Your privacy and comfort are always our top priority. Your skin will be examined with sensitivity, and we will be guided by you. We have male and female doctors on our team, so if you have a preference, just let our reception team know when you book.
Some early types of skin cancers can be effectively treated on the day with non-surgical methods such as creams or liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy), or small surgeries undertaken, e.g. biopsies. Please note there is an additional charge for these.
